Originally operating on the South Coast of NSW ‘Here and there Hair Design’ is soon to be relocating to the Clarence Valley NSW in July 2025 and will be offering professional mobile hair and makeup for all occasions with the capability of travelling to any location or venure in the Clarence Valley, Coffs Harbour, Yamba areas meaning you’re covered for gorgeous bridal hair and makeup for your wedding on the beautiful North Coast NSW.
Although happy to create any hairstyle you desire Beck has a particular passion and aptitude for the ultra-flattering softly styled looks that reflect the beauty of her clients. Her favourite looks to achieve are dreamy romantic updos with elegant facial framing pieces that are timeless and flattering on just about everyone, as well as boho half up half down styles incorporating Celtic and fantasy inspired braids and twists.
Whether it be a wedding, elopement, school formal or simply attending a special event you can count on Beck’s friendly and focused service to leave you looking and feeling absolutely beautiful.
Though primarily offering hairstyling service for larger booking numbers, there is the option of hair and makeup packages for small weddings, elopements, school formals and wedding guest bookings. Sourcing our makeup kit from the trusted Australian brand LaGlam Minerals, we find their boutique collection creates stunning full coverage results that look absolutely flawless all while feeling sensationally light.
Beck Ryan is a qualified and experienced hairstylist and beauty therapist with a combined 19 years in the industry.
Beck has worked in Australia, Canada and New Zealand throughout her career. Special events and creativity have always been a big part of both Beck’s personal and professional life - losing count of the number of weddings she’s been involved in in some way shape or form over the years.
During her time as beauty therapist, she would often be booked to do bridal makeup and found it truly satisfying to make her brides feel beautiful for their walk down the aisle.
When working for catering companies and venues in Berry and Kiama, Beck enjoyed the excitement of the party around her and took pride in providing excellent service so the bride, groom and their guests experienced an unforgettable evening.
One time, someone asked her to create a huge blackboard artwork with the dinner menu displayed and she didn’t hesitate to jump at the chance to be a small creative part of their special day.
Beck has even photographed a few family members weddings over the years where her creativity and eye for details shone through to capture some beautiful and cherished moments.
Beck also spent some time working for a photographer doing hair and makeup styling for portfolio head shots.
And after spending 10 years as a hairstylist exclusively in-salon, Beck started to feel like she was missing that sense of fulfillment and had the realisation that she deeply missed contributing her time, skill and attention to detail into weddings.
And so Here and There Hair Design was born!
As a way of not only offering professional hairstyling and makeup services directly to you for your day, but also Beck’s passion and deep commitment to making you and your party look and feel beautiful on all those special occasions!
