Book a Trial
The first step in finding your wedding hairstylist is confirming availability on your wedding date.
The second step is booking a trial.
A trial is the best way to discover what will work for your hair and your vision for your big day.
Everyone's hair is different and can perform differently dependent on the style selected.
At your trial we will discuss multiple hairstyle options and create a look that not only works with your ideas but also reflects your individual beauty. If you are intending on wearing extensions for added thickness, bring them along!
Of course, not all brides will book a trial for many reasons, and you don’t have to have a trial in order to secure a booking for your wedding date. No matter your choice, we will aim to achieve the look you are hoping for when the day arrives.
Finalising your Booking
All bookings require a signed contract and $150 deposit to finalise and secure the date of your event. Finalising your booking in some instances may need to be done before your trial in order to secure your date. The deposit is non-refundable within 6 weeks of the date of the booking.
Cancellations and changes to booking details and party numbers are subject to limitations and only permitted up to 6 weeks prior to the date of the booking.
Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the date of booking will result in the deposit being forfeited.
Amounts owing on bookings are to be paid prior to the commencement of service on the date of booking or before.
Hair Preparation For Your Wedding Day
When preparing for your trial and/or wedding day there are a few things to remember to ensure your hair is in the best condition for the styling.
Wash your hair the night before. This is something asked of all brides and bridesmaids to do and it really does make all the difference. Freshly washed hair is just too soft and silky to work with when it comes to special occasion styling and can really impact the end result so it’s best to wash your hair the night before the wedding. Trust us - it will still be clean. It will still feel fresh, and you are guaranteed to get a more lasting structure to curls and waves that are part of up and down styling.
The only exception to this rule is for mother-of-the-brides or any other party member who is having a blow wave only - in which case the hair should be freshly washed on the day of the wedding.
Steps for Prep:
Shampoo your hair 2 times, then apply conditioner on the ends only and rinse well.
Do not apply any hair product or oils.
Blow drying the hair is ok but do not use any heat tools such as straighteners or curling irons.
Following these guidelines can make all the difference in your styles longevity and overall look so keep that in mind when planning for the night before.
